Istanbul and Beyond with Robyn Eckhardt

  • Museum of Food and Drink 62 Bayard Street Brooklyn, NY, 11222 United States (map)

Join two-time Saveur award winner Robyn Eckhardt, travel photographer David Hagerman, and award-winning food writer Helen Rosner in celebrating the release of Robyn's first book, Istanbul & Beyond: Exploring the Diverse Cuisines of Turkey. Istanbul & Beyond documents regional cuisines and life in the villages, cities, farms, and high pastures of the lesser-known provinces throughout Turkey.

Robyn has stumbled upon these recipes over the past twenty years and traveled over 13,000 miles along the backroads of Turkey. Istanbul & Beyond is her and David's snapshot of Turkey’s glorious culinary abundance.

Robyn and David's talk will be followed by an informal reception featuring Turkish bites from Cinar Turkish Restaurant, Turkish wine from Vinkara Wines, Brooklyn Brewery beer, and a book signing.
