California vs. New York Wine Tasting

  • Museum of Food and Drink 62 Bayard Street Brooklyn, NY, 11222 United States (map)

There was Biggie vs. Tupac. Knicks vs. Lakers. Now, it's Cab Franc vs. Cab Sav. That's right, it's a New York vs. California wine showdown. Top wines from these two dynamic wine regions will be explored and tasted head to head in a one-hour guided tasting with wine educator Elizabeth Marsh of Wine Goals

We'll conclude the evening with a wine reception, highlighting both regions. Bring a friend, and let's wine about it.

About Elizabeth Marsh

Elizabeth Yale Marsh is a wine consultant, educator and the Founder of WINE GOALS. She holds advanced certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust and is currently a WSET diploma candidate. Because wine and cheese go together like, well wine and cheese, Elizabeth is also a Murray's Cheese-trained cheese wiz (pun intended). And because she cares about the environment and the future of our planet, she is a California Sustainable Wine Growing Ambassador. Elizabeth has a degree in Anthropology from Columbia University, and loves to explore how history and culture have informed the great wines of the world. If you want to talk about the connection between Eleanor of Aquitaine and Bordeaux blends, she's your gal. But most importantly, she's passionate about wine and loves to share that enthusiasm with people in a way that's fun, approachable, and memorable.
